COOPERCABRUCA came up with an innovative proposal and in response to the crisis that hit the cocoa crop since the witches' broom plague arrived here. The cocoa farmer is, above all, a stubborn person who does not give up, even when the prospects are not good or when, economically, it is not advisable to continue. But cocoa circulates in our veins. It is a love affair that the rational cannot explain. COOPERCABRUCA's proposal, like all cooperatives, is to work together, allowing a motivating synergy, but it is innovative when it proposes to its members not to sell almonds, but to produce and sell high quality cocoa derivatives, with high added value. Our purpose is to give back to the suffering farmer the expectation of good financial results to his activity, so that each one feels motivated to motivate others to embark on this project. We want our product to be known and recognized for excellence in Brazil and worldwide. We want to change the way we see and think about cocoa in our Cocoa Region in the South of Bahia.
